This is just a quick reminder that this Sunday there are two different matches at the same time.
Our middle school duals team has a quad match at GHS in the Old Gym.
Our youth/JV team has a match at Moorestown High School.

This weekend’s youth/JV match is scheduled for Sunday 1/27 at Moorestown High School.
Check-in times are as follows:
Tots (ages 4-6) & Bantams (ages 7-8): 8:00AM
Midgets (ages 9-10), Juniors (ages 11-12), & Intermediates (ages 13-14): 10:30AM
This Sunday 1/27 we will be hosting a Middle School Quad match. Our MS duals team will compete against Pennsville, Schalick, and Irish.
The match will be held in the Old Gym at the high school.
Check-in is at 8:00AM.
Our middle school team has a match this Thursday January 24th at 4:30PM. Our Lions will be wrestling against the Washington Township Minutemen.
As usual, the match will be held in the Gloucester City Middle School auxiliary gym. Doors will open around 4:15PM for parents and spectators.
This Sunday will be the second SJWL Middle School Challenge. The tournament is for wrestlers in grades 7th & 8th only (as well as any of our 6th graders who regularly wrestle in the middle school duals matches).
It will be held at Moorestown High School in the Eisenberg Gym (the smaller gym to the right).
Check-in time is 8:00AM.
Wrestling will start at 9:00AM.
A few important notes:
We need to know ASAP if your wrestler cannot attend. This will be a huge event with middle schoolers from the entire league, so advanced notice is essential to ensure things run smoothly.
Due to the large number of wrestlers participating in Saturday’s event, the tournament director has pushed back check-in time for the second session to 1:00PM.
This means it could be a pretty long day for some of us, so be prepared for that. And in case nobody has told you lately, we really do recognize and appreciate the continued understanding and dedication from parents, siblings, grandparents, and everybody else who shows up day in and day out, weekend after weekend, all season long.

There are no Intermediates (ages 13-14) in the tournament this weekend (excluding those on the duals team).
This Saturday will be a Middle School Jamboree. The tournament is for wrestlers in grades 6th, 7th, & 8th only.
It will be held at Maple Shade High School.
Check-in time is 8:15AM.

The match will be held at Carusi Middle School in Cherry Hill. We will need some help with carpooling from GCMS at 3:00PM. If you’re able to help out, please let us know!
Just a reminder that there is a Middle School match tomorrow, Wednesday January 9th, at 4:30PM. Our Lions will be wrestling against the Palmyra Panthers.

We’ve had some questions about this Sunday’s match at the Deptford Rec Center, so this is to clarify what’s going on and what time to be there.
There will be Middle School duals matches happening at the same time as the youth tournament. The duals match lineup is as follows:
Deptford vs Collingswood
Gloucester vs Collingswood
Deptford vs Gloucester
The duals matches are scheduled to start around 8:00AM. However, since our first duals match is second in the lineup, our middle school duals team should show up for weigh-ins at 8:45AM.
