Next Sunday 12/16 will be a quad match at Moorestown High School. This match is for all of our youth wrestlers.
8:00AM Check-in for Tots (ages 4-6) & Bantams (ages 7-8)
10:30AM Check-in for Midgets (ages 9-10), Juniors (ages 11-12), Intermediates (ages 13-14)
This match should move along fairly quickly since there will be 5 mats running at the same time.
This year’s annual Collingswood Holiday Tournament will be on Saturday 12/15. More details will follow as they become available.
In previous years, this has always been a good tournament and the kids usually have a great time. Start time is expected to be around 8:30AM. Check back for updates…
Next Thursday 12/13 the middle school team has a Varsity Duals match against Haddon Heights MS.
Match will take place in the aux. gym at GCMS. Wrestling is scheduled to start at 4:30pm. Doors open for parents and spectators at 4:00pm.
Middle School practice is cancelled tomorrow, Friday 12/7.
There are quite a few wrestlers who did not return last year’s singlets, compression shirts, and/or headgear. If you still have your stuff from last year, please bring it to the first practice.
New equipment will not be issued until last year’s items are either returned or paid for.
Also, if wrestlers have their own headgear or shoes that no longer fit — and are in acceptable usable condition — we would greatly appreciate it if those items were donated to our youth program. We have some athletes with limited resources, and your donations of usable equipment help give everybody an opportunity to participate.
Tomorrow, Monday 11/28, marks the official start of this season!
Practice schedules are as follows:
➔ Middle School: after school until approximately 5:30pm Mon-Fri.
➔ Ages 7-10: Monday & Wednesday 7:00pm-8:30pm
➔ Ages 4-6: Tuesday & Thursday 7:00pm-8:15pm
For all ages, remember to wear appropriate practice clothing. No jeans, no boots, nothing with buttons or zippers.
Lastly, no student will be permitted to begin practice until properly completed and signed registration forms are submitted.

For the next few weeks, there will be optional open-room practice time every Tuesday and Wednesday after school in the GHS wrestling room.
This is your chance to come out before the season begins and get a head start on your success. Believe me, it does make a difference.
Our annual banquet at the Swim Club has been rescheduled for Sunday July 22nd from 2pm-6pm.

There’s no charge for wrestlers and parents. Siblings, however, will have to pay $5.

This Saturday the 28th is the SEPA Pre-Eastern National Warm-up Round Robin Tournament.
Weigh-ins will be Saturday 7:00AM-8:00AM
Wrestling will start at 9:00AM
