Reminder weighins are Sat at Riverwinds in WD from 9 am to 12 pm for those wrestling in the Varsity tourney on Sunday. Sundays tourney is at Moorestown HS. If you don’t weigh in Saturday then you must between 7-8 am on Sunday. Scales are closed 8:01 am so get there early.
Meet 8:20 am at Moorestown HS on Sunday for warm ups. Mondays youth match against WT is canceled.
JV tourney wrestlers will be at Clearview HS on Sunday 2/18 at 1 pm. No weigh ins for that event.
Please send me their Hoodie size. Include youth or adult size. We will do a March madness block pool fundraiser and do a teachers jeans day at GMS to help offset the costs. Please participate when we post it. I will send out the details.
Great job today. Haddonfield is perennially a top 10 program in our area, and we handled them at the MS and HS level today. A lot of close matches where the Lions proved to be tougher and never stopped wrestling coming out on top with the win. The best part is we did not wrestle our best and still had a lot of good wins. Back to work tomorrow!!

I want to congratulate all of our wrestlers for their performances this weekend. Some even wrestled both Saturday and Sunday, and I love the dedication!

This was just the first tournament weekend of the season for us, and there will be plenty more to come. Focus on what we can do to perform better next time, and work harder in practice.
We are proud of all of our Lions Youth wrestlers who wrestled in the SJWL Individual Championship today. The Lions definitely represented this year. We had 8 placewinners and 7 kids who lost in the Consi-Semis (1 win from top 4).
