There will be a meeting for parents on Tuesday 11/27 at 7:00pm in the high school cafeteria.
We will explain the basics of our program and the goals we strive to reach. You’ll also learn what parents and wrestlers can expect for the next few months.
We strongly suggest that all parents, especially those with first-year wrestlers, attend this meeting. This is also your opportunity to ask any questions if you’re unsure about something or if there’s anything that remains unclear.

We’re hosting a planning meeting on Monday 11/5 at 7:00pm at Tavern on the Edge to discuss this year’s beef & beer event (scheduled for Friday, Nov. 30th) and we’re asking for some help from our Gloucester Wrestling family.
As you probably already know, our annual beef & beer event is the largest of the season for us, and we’re looking for some volunteers to help out with a few things. If you’re able, please attend the planning meeting and help us kick off this season!
Our annual banquet at the Swim Club has been rescheduled for Sunday July 22nd from 2pm-6pm.
We appreciate your patience as we worked to reschedule it, and we look forward to seeing you all there.
Remember to bring singlets, headgear, and compression shirts.
This year’s annual banquet and celebration will be at the Gloucester City Swim Club again. Time and date is Sunday June 24th from 2pm-6pm.
There’s no charge for wrestlers and parents. Siblings, however, will have to pay $5.

Today’s middle school practice will end at 5:30PM.
GHS faces Pennsville again in the first round of playoffs. The match will be at Pennsville High School again. As always, we encourage all of our wrestlers, parents, families, and other supporters to come out and cheer them on!
Tonight’s youth practice is cancelled.
Gloucester HS is competing for the conference championship against Pennsville tonight at 7PM. If you can make it to Pennsville High School, we encourage all of our wrestlers, parents, and other supporters to attend. Wear your Gloucester Wrestling gear and come out to cheer them on!
Tomorrow’s practice will be until 5:15PM so we can get showered and on the road to watch the GHS conference championship match at Pennsville.

The middle school match against Westside that was scheduled for Friday 1/26 has been cancelled.
Youth Night is still a go! We will let parents and wrestlers know what time to show up for the Youth Night event.
Middle School match against Westside this coming Friday 1/26 at 5pm at Gloucester City High School. Match will take place before the Gloucester City – Gloucester Catholic match.
This is also our Youth Night, so all wrestlers should attend dressed in their Gloucester Wrestling warmup shirts & shorts (singlets aren’t necessary for those not wrestling). The youth wrestlers will be brought out onto the mat and recognized prior to the start of the high school match.
We’re hosting a meeting for the parents of all wrestlers on Monday, November 20th at Tavern on the Edge (upstairs).
We’ll discuss a number of important things regarding the upcoming season including medical and safety issues, practice schedules, required paperwork, and several other essential topics. We recommend that all parents and guardians attend the meeting.
