This is just a quick reminder that this Sunday there are two different matches at the same time.
Our middle school duals team has a quad match at GHS in the Old Gym.
Our youth/JV team has a match at Moorestown High School.

This weekend’s youth/JV match is scheduled for Sunday 1/27 at Moorestown High School.
Check-in times are as follows:
Tots (ages 4-6) & Bantams (ages 7-8): 8:00AM
Midgets (ages 9-10), Juniors (ages 11-12), & Intermediates (ages 13-14): 10:30AM
Due to the large number of wrestlers participating in Saturday’s event, the tournament director has pushed back check-in time for the second session to 1:00PM.
This means it could be a pretty long day for some of us, so be prepared for that. And in case nobody has told you lately, we really do recognize and appreciate the continued understanding and dedication from parents, siblings, grandparents, and everybody else who shows up day in and day out, weekend after weekend, all season long.
This weekend’s youth/JV match is scheduled for Saturday 1/19 at the Riverwinds Community Center.
Check-in times are as follows:
Tots (ages 4-6) & Bantams (ages 7-8): 8:00AM
Midgets (ages 9-10), Juniors (ages 11-12), & Intermediates (ages 13-14): 12:00PM
This weekend’s youth/JV match is scheduled for Sunday 1/13 at Clearview Regional High School.
Similar to last weekend, check-in times are as follows:
Duals team: 7:30AM
Tots (ages 4-6) & Bantams (ages 7-8): 7:30AM
Midgets (ages 9-10) & Juniors (ages 11-12): 10:00AM
There are no Intermediates (ages 13-14) in the tournament this weekend (excluding those on the duals team).
We’ve had some questions about this Sunday’s match at the Deptford Rec Center, so this is to clarify what’s going on and what time to be there.
There will be Middle School duals matches happening at the same time as the youth tournament. The duals match lineup is as follows:
Deptford vs Collingswood
Gloucester vs Collingswood
Deptford vs Gloucester
The duals matches are scheduled to start around 8:00AM. However, since our first duals match is second in the lineup, our middle school duals team should show up for weigh-ins at 8:45AM.
The rest of the team should show up at the times we listed yesterday:
8:00AM – Tots (ages 4-6)
9:00AM – Bantams (ages 7-8)
11:00AM – Midgets (ages 9-10), Juniors (ages 11-12), Intermediates (ages 13-14)
This weekend’s match is scheduled for Sunday 1/6 at the Deptford Twp Youth Center.
Check-in times are as follows:

9:00AM – Bantams (ages 7-8)
11:00AM – Midgets (ages 9-10), Juniors (ages 11-12), Intermediates (ages 13-14)
Youth wrestling practice is cancelled for tonight, Wednesday 1/2/19.
This practice has been rescheduled for tomorrow, Thursday 1/3/19 from 5:45PM-7:00PM.
First, do not forget that this year’s clothing order forms are due no later than tomorrow! So, if you haven’t handed in or emailed us your completed form, get it done now.
Second, just a quick reminder to all parents and wrestlers — when the school is closed we can’t have practice. This means there will be no practices for any age groups over the winter break. However, all of us coaches strongly suggest that wrestlers take initiative and continue to work out and practice on their own…

Next Sunday 12/16 will be a quad match at Moorestown High School. This match is for all of our youth wrestlers.
8:00AM Check-in for Tots (ages 4-6) & Bantams (ages 7-8)
10:30AM Check-in for Midgets (ages 9-10), Juniors (ages 11-12), Intermediates (ages 13-14)
This match should move along fairly quickly since there will be 5 mats running at the same time.
There are quite a few wrestlers who did not return last year’s singlets, compression shirts, and/or headgear. If you still have your stuff from last year, please bring it to the first practice.
New equipment will not be issued until last year’s items are either returned or paid for.
Also, if wrestlers have their own headgear or shoes that no longer fit — and are in acceptable usable condition — we would greatly appreciate it if those items were donated to our youth program. We have some athletes with limited resources, and your donations of usable equipment help give everybody an opportunity to participate.
Tomorrow, Monday 11/28, marks the official start of this season!
Practice schedules are as follows:
➔ Middle School: after school until approximately 5:30pm Mon-Fri.
➔ Ages 7-10: Monday & Wednesday 7:00pm-8:30pm
➔ Ages 4-6: Tuesday & Thursday 7:00pm-8:15pm
For all ages, remember to wear appropriate practice clothing. No jeans, no boots, nothing with buttons or zippers.
Lastly, no student will be permitted to begin practice until properly completed and signed registration forms are submitted.
