Wrestling season officially begins next week! Monday 11/27 will be the start of our practice schedule. If you haven’t signed up, yet, there is still time to do so. Just visit our Registration page and follow the instructions.
Practices will be as follows:
Tots (Ages 4-6)
Tuesday 7:00pm – 8:00pm @ GMS aux gym
Thursday 7:00pm – 8:00pm @ GMS aux gym
Bantams & Midgets (Ages 7+)
Monday 5:30pm – 7:00pm @ GHS wrestling room

This Sunday, Feb 5th, is the end of the year tot(ages 4-6) tournament at Deptford High School. Doors open at 8am with wrestling to start at 9am. Info has been provided on remind app. Please contact coach doc at 609-634-8843 with any questions.

Monday night, 1/30, we will have our youth night at the high schools home match. They will recognize the youth program. Please have your child get to high school at 630pm with their warmup gear on.
There is no youth practice tonight 1/16 from 530p-7p at the high school due to school being closed.
Tonight’s youth practices will be cancelled tonight in lieu of the high school wrestling at paulsboro tonight. Huge match for the program. Varsity starts at 7pm.

Our first match is on Sunday, 12/18 at haddonfield high school.
$5 entry for adults, $3 for kids and seniors, wrestlers are free.

Tonight’s practices (12/8) will be canceled due to the Christmas parade in town. For those that are going to parade, enjoy. Practice resumes next week.
On Saturday 12/3 from 7:00-10:00pm we’re having our 14th annual Beef & Beer at Holy City Publick House.
Cost is $30/ticket
Includes T-shirt, bottled beer, wine & food.
There will be Chinese auction baskets, big prizes, and a live DJ!

Have your child wear a tshirt and shorts for practice underneath their sweatpants and coat. We have a bin of shoes that have been donated over the years if you do not have a pair yet.

Just a reminder:
Our 14th Annual Gloucester Wrestling Beef and Beer will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Holy City Publick House. Start time is 7:00. The cost is $30. 50/50, baskets, and big ticket items will all be part of the fun. Please come out and support.
School just started again, which means wrestling season is right around the corner! Winter will be here before you know it.
We expect this year to be outstanding, and are excited to see what our coaches and athletes can do!
To that end, we’re having a meeting for parents of all wrestlers including youth, middle, and high school.
We will meet on Monday, 9/12 at 7:30PM upstairs at Holy City Publick House.
We want to get a jump on fundraising. We will be planning events and fundraisers to prepare for the upcoming season. Please make an effort to attend and assist in this process.

On Monday, January 24th, our middle school and high school wrestling teams have matches against Sterling.
The middle school match is scheduled to begin at 4:00PM, followed by JV at 5:00PM, and finally Varsity at 6:00PM.
Matches will be held at Sterling High School on Warwick Road. If you can’t attend, you can watch a live stream to be provided courtesy of Sterling’s Channel 19 (YouTube).
We were informed that only four spectators per wrestler will be permitted. If you have questions or concerns about this, please contact a coach to discuss in more detail.
